The Advent Procession is a spectacular service of colour, light, music, movement and spoken word, held at Christ Church on Advent Sunday every year. During the service, thirty acolytes accompany the two cathedral choirs in procession through the building. The liturgy of music and Bible readings reflects Advent themes of accountability, judgement and the hope of eternal life. The service is led by the Dean, The Very Reverend Desmond Harman.
