Cathedral Choir (c.1947-55) Boys Clive Armstrong (leading procession on right), behind whom is Eric Bryant, and behind him, Alan Foster Gentlemen [Keith Armstrong recalls the altos being Begley and William Rafter, and the tenors as Robert McCullagh and Maddison. The basses were Jack Harte and Frank Cowle] The last two choirmen in the procession are Jack Harte (Christ Church 1947-1957) and to his right, Frank Cowle. The tall man three from the back is Richard Midgley, an English tenor (prominent in the Rathmines and Rathgar Musical Society, as was Bob McCullagh, and, in earlier years, Jack Harte, and organist T.H. Weaving). To the right of Midgley (with the wavy hair) is Robin Luke, and in front of him (a little dark hair) is Robert (Bob) McCullagh. In front of Bob McCullagh is Begley, while in front of Begley with the face obscured by the leading chorister is Willie Rafter. Clergy In front of the verger is the dean's vicar & headmaster is the Revd Frederick Rogers, and behind the verger is Canon Norman D Emerson (later dean). He is followed by the silver haired Dean Lewis Crosby.
