Each spring in Christ Church Cathedral, a talk is given on some aspect of
the cathedral and its surrounds,in memory of the much loved verger, Joe Coady, whose involvement in the cathedral lasted for over 60 years.
Cathedral sexton for several years, he became the dean's verger in 1959, a post which he held until his death in 1987.
