The Stained Glass of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin

You are invited to an illustrated lecture, the sixth in the series in memory of Joe Coady, on'The Stained Glass of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin'. will take place in the beautiful setting of Christ Church Cathedral on Wednesday 10th March at 8pm. The subject is 'The Stained Glass of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin' and the speaker is Lesley Whiteside whose new 'Guide to the Stained Glass of Christ Church Cathedral Dublin' will be launched at the lecture by Dr Nicola Gordon Bowe of the National College of Art and Design.

Mrs. Whiteside will illustrate her talk with slides of the cathedral windows made by Dr David Lawrence. Generally perceived as just another set of Victorian glass, the windows of Christ Church, Mrs. Whiteside argues, are of a remarkably high standard and comparable with the best glass of that time in Europe.

Please come and bring as many guests as you wish - you will be made most welcome to this illuminating evening. There is no admission charge to this event.
